The Atlas 6 GBU-39 Glide Bomb Launcher is a precision-strike variant of Adler Aerospace’s heavy-lift Atlas 6 UAV, designed to deploy a single GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb (SDB)—a 50 kg class guided glide munition. This variant expands the Atlas 6’s mission profile into tactical air-to-ground strike operations, offering stand-off range and pinpoint accuracy without risking manned aircraft.

Key Features:

  1. Precision Glide Bomb Integration:
  • Configured to carry and release one GBU-39 SDB, the Atlas 6 utilizes a reinforced centerline mounting system with secure in-flight locking and precision release mechanisms.
  • The GBU-39 is GPS/INS-guided, offering a CEP (circular error probable) under 5 meters, making it ideal for high-value target elimination with minimal collateral damage.
  1. Stand-Off Strike Capability:
  • From a launch altitude of 3,000 meters, the GBU-39 achieves a glide range exceeding 10 kilometers, allowing the UAV to remain outside hostile air defense zones during weapon release.
